Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to Me → Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your password and type DELETE before the deletion runs. This permanently removes your profile, meal logs, body metrics, supplement and hydration logs, custom foods, and AI conversations. We cannot restore an account once it has been deleted.

I forgot my password.

Email info@donpicon.com from the address you signed up with and we'll send you a reset link. (A self-serve reset flow is on the roadmap.)

The macros for a meal don't match what I weighed at home.

Every dish in BugarAI carries an accuracy label — exact, semi-exact, estimated, or low confidence. Even "exact" is our best estimate, since kitchens change recipes and portion sizes drift. If a dish looks meaningfully off, email us with the restaurant, dish name, and what you measured — we'll re-check the macros and update them.

The AI suggested a meal I'm allergic to.

BugarAI's AI suggestions are informational only — they are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. The AI does not know your full health history or allergies. Please verify ingredients with the restaurant before eating, and talk to a qualified professional for medical or allergy guidance.

A restaurant I want isn't on the list.

You can request one from inside the app: Restaurants → Request a restaurant. We add new restaurants in batches once the menu and macros have been verified. If you can share a menu link or photos, that speeds things up — email info@donpicon.com.

How do I export my data?

Email info@donpicon.com from the address you signed up with and we'll send a JSON or CSV export of your meals, body metrics, and supplement logs. (Self-serve export from inside the app is on the roadmap.)

I joined the TestFlight beta but don't see new updates.

Open the TestFlight app on your iPhone, tap BugarAI, and pull down to refresh. If a new build is available it'll show an "Update" button. Make sure background app refresh is on so TestFlight doesn't silently throttle the check.

Is my data sold or used to train AI models?

No. We don't sell personal data, we don't run ads, and we don't share your logs with anyone except the providers that run the app (DigitalOcean for hosting, Anthropic for the AI feature, Apple for distribution, Google for restaurant maps and photos). The full list lives in our Privacy Policy.
