What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Use BugarAI as a thoughtful nutrition companion, not as your doctor. We're doing our best during beta, but things will occasionally break. We don't own what you log — you do. We reserve the right to end the beta, change the app, or politely show someone the door if they're abusing it. Dubai, UAE law governs these terms.
1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and DonpiConsulting FZCO ("BugarAI", "we", "us"), a company registered in the free zone of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By visiting bugarai.com, joining the waitlist, accepting a TestFlight invitation, or using the BugarAI iOS app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What BugarAI is
BugarAI is an iOS nutrition-tracking app focused on restaurant meals in Canggu and Uluwatu, Bali. It is currently in private, invitation-only beta distributed through Apple's TestFlight. It is not available on the public App Store, not available for Android, and not a finished product — features will change, bugs will happen, and we may ask you for feedback along the way.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You need a valid Apple ID and a compatible iPhone to join the TestFlight beta.
- Beta access is by invitation only. We may grant, decline, or revoke invitations at our discretion.
4. Your account
When you accept a beta invitation and sign up, you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for any activity under your account. If you think your account has been accessed by someone else, email us at info@donpicon.com.
5. What you can and can't do
Please:
- Use BugarAI for personal nutrition tracking.
- Send us feedback, bug reports, and restaurant requests.
- Export your own data whenever you want.
Please don't:
- Scrape, mass-download, or resell our restaurant menu data or macro database.
- Reverse-engineer the app except as explicitly allowed by law.
- Use the app to harass, harm, or deceive anyone.
- Attempt to break, overload, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without responsibly disclosing them to us first.
- Impersonate someone else or submit false personal data.
- Use the app for anything illegal or that infringes on anyone's rights.
6. Your content, your rights
Everything you log in BugarAI — your meals, body metrics, supplement logs, AI conversations, custom foods — is your content. We don't claim ownership.
To run the service, we need your permission to process that content on our servers. By using BugarAI, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, process, display back to you, and (where an AI feature is used) send the relevant portion to our AI provider, strictly for the purpose of operating the app and providing you the features you've asked for. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
7. Our content, our rights
The BugarAI name, logo, landing page, app design, source code, restaurant database, and confidence-labeled macro data are owned by DonpiConsulting FZCO and protected by copyright, trademark, and database rights. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Nutrition information — an honest disclaimer
Every dish in BugarAI carries a confidence label: exact, semi-exact, estimated, or low confidence. Even "exact" is our best estimate — the kitchen may change the recipe tomorrow, portion sizes vary, and oil absorption is a rumour rather than a science. Treat the macro values as informed guidance, not laboratory truth.
9. AI suggestions — also an honest disclaimer
BugarAI's AI meal suggestions and weekly reviews are generated by a large language model. They are informational only and are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. The AI does not know your full health history, your allergies, or your doctor's orders. If you have any medical condition — diabetes, eating disorder history, pregnancy, heart condition, kidney disease, anything — talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything BugarAI suggests.
10. Beta service, changing features
Because BugarAI is in beta, we may add features, remove features, change how things work, introduce bugs, pause the service for maintenance, or stop the beta entirely. We'll try to give reasonable notice for anything destructive (like deleting beta accounts), but we can't promise perfect uptime or continuity.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BugarAI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.
In no event shall DonpiConsulting FZCO, its officers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or bodily injury, arising out of your use of BugarAI — even if we've been advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify DonpiConsulting FZCO against any claim or demand made by a third party arising out of your misuse of BugarAI, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.
13. Termination
You can stop using BugarAI at any time and delete your account from within the app (or by asking us). We can suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or harm other users. If we terminate your access, we'll delete your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and — for anyone with an app account — send an in-app notice. Continuing to use BugarAI after a change means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the free zone in which DonpiConsulting FZCO is registered. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or BugarAI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, except where you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose laws give you the right to bring a claim locally.
